Living in a remote area far away from museums and galleries? Your kids are curious of everything?

If you live in France MuMo might come to visit the school of your children. A mobile museum( or almost) made of flexible containers. Artist Daniel Buren designed the outside walls, artist Paul McCarthy created a huge inflatable rabbit, artist James Turrell designed a work playing with light and colors. MuMo contains works of many other artists made especially for this very special venue and with children in mind. An unconventional venue, more than an exhibition space it is a discovery and interactive space for children to think, be stimulated and challenged.

Imagined and developed by Ingrid Brochard who funded l’Art a l’Enfance and financed thanks to private philantropes, MuMo is a great and clever initiative.

The artists tackle subjects important to children: death, love, the sacred, the place of man in the universe and many other topics.

The visit of MuMo is strictly for children and of a duration of approximately 30 minutes with the supervision and help of a mediation assistant. No teachers allowed!

After the tour of France over, the MuMo truck will take the road to the African continent for new adventures and encounters.
